GRANULES OVERVIEW
H2S is produced biologically where anaerobic conditions exist. So are some other reduced-sulfur compounds. TAPS™ Oxidizing Granules are extremely effective at destroying these molecules, turning them into solids which are deposited on and within the granules.
You may be more familiar with the use of activated carbon for odor control. TAPS™ oxidizing granules provide a much longer service life than activated carbon, which mostly just saturates with water. TAPS™ granules react selectively with the most offensive odor compounds. Unwanted reactions do not occur. Power is not wasted, and humid conditions actually help the reactions. This technology is employed in all TAPS™ odor control products. Place around vents, doors, windows and other problem areas around the plant or collection system. |
